  Childlike Alters

  Okay, so… I got a new alter about a week ago now. He’s trying to figure out his role in the system and I’ve been trying to help him figure it out. I personally think that he’s supposed to be like my inner child. Problem is that he isn’t a little. He’s an adult who just possesses many traits I did as a kid when I was going through some stuff.

  But question is, can you really even have an alter that’s a representation of you at a younger age, but the alter be older than the age they represent? And if so, what would their role be considered? They aren’t exactly a little, but they sorta are at the same time.

  I’ve tried to look this up on the internet, but I couldn’t find anything. If anyone has any answers, suggestions, takes, or similar experiences, I’d appreciate it!
