Favorite Activities for a Rainy Day?
Curious what everybody else likes to do for a chill self-care kind of day.
I watch a lot of documentaries and old shows and movies. Used to be SUPER into diamond painting, but lately I’ve been all about coloring books.
Also, do you make things?
I used to dabble in clay sculpture, painting, knitting, and candle making. Never figured out jewelry making or drawing. Maybe one day.
What sorts of things bring you joy on a rainy day?

What do I do? Make websites. <laugh> Either I work on the .cafe or the .wiki, or I work on stuff for Day Job. But others in the system like to game, and a bunch are into sci-fi/fantasy and anime.

For us, on a chill self-care/rainy day we usually don’t do a whole lot, but the activities we do can vary between a few things. We will listen to music (though we do that most days anyway), watch YouTube videos about either a tv show/movie we like, watch a let’s play, or watch something historical/craft/information related. We also journal and write poetry or stories if we feel up to it. And we like to make digital collages/photo edit sort of things for fun sometimes if we have an idea for something!

Rainy days I might spend time grooming my cats, painting, journaling, reading. I might cook or bake. Maybe meditate or relax listening to meditation music or something of the sorts. If it’s a heavy rain, I might just look out the window and enjoy it. Earl Grey tea feels like rainy-day remedy, so does burning candles and having a hot bubble bath. I might video game a bit or watch tv, probably surf around on Socials quite a bit and this forum.
