Stuffie Share!
I hope this is okie to do, but I thought it would nice to have a place for littles like me to share pictures of our special stuffie friends and talk about them!
This is our PTSD “Plushie Dreadful”, His name is Kurosagi, and under his masks, he is really sad and scared and crying. He’s my subsystem’s stuffie, and he’s been really helpful in explaining things to other little ones in here…like stuff with Alexei. He often “wears the angry mask” when he’s scared or hurt, and he sometimes doesn’t even notice he is wearing it until he’s able to calm down again!
It also has helped us understand some of the times that Break and other bigs/olders have taken us away from situations where they have seemed really happy and comfortable, because they explained that they were “wearing the happy mask” until we were in a place where we were safe again and they could show their real feelings
